☆ THE WALKING CONTRADICTION ☆

Taina is your typical, introverted 17-year old born under the star of Taurus. She's the shy-and-quiet type who, when online, turns into her evil and sarcastic alter-ego, Yuki. From her biased point of view, she considers herself as a rabid yaoi fangirl, a budding writer, a frustrated artist, an idealistic realist, and a lost soul creating her place in the world.

 

Among other things, she enjoys reading, psychologizing people, writing, web designing, drawing, watching anime, conversing, eating, a bit of debating, walking, traveling, sleeping and drowning herself in music. At the moment, she is trying to fall deeply and wholly in love with the Lord.

 

In her own little way, she is constantly making steps to achieve her goal of world domination, (cliché as it may sound) hauling the Philippines from its third-world status through the revival of its own culture.

☆ VANILLA FRIES ☆

...is a never-ending story. It came from the shortened version of French fries and vanilla ice cream. Why, you ask? Because the two go better together than with ketchup. And because the author had no imagination, and was eating said finger food smothered in aforementioned dessert when she was thinking up of a blog name. Ta-da! XD

Gah, I was supposed to blog about Last Alliance eons ago, but. >.<

At least this goes to show that my love for Last Alliance isn't mere infatuation. Let me start narrating my love affair for this J-rock band by saying this:

HOMGWTHBBQ LAST ALLIANCE!!11!

It all really started when I got hooked on Ouran Host Club. I watched the anime in two sittings, and at first I really enjoyed listening to both the opening and ending songs (Sakura Kiss and Shissou). After a while I started skipping Sakura Kiss and just listened to Shissou.

I immediatley loved Shissou, especially when they used it as the ringtone of the twins in one of the episodes (ep. 15 I think?). The beat, the feel, rhythm and lyrics of the song was great. I was addicted to it. XD Thus, I started my quest for more LA songs.

I found Maboroshi Memory, which is my current fave. And I got a chance to listen to their other songs as well, like: Rebel Fire, Green Sunlight, Gray End and Break A Mirror. I loved all even if I just listened to them once.

I'm now on a downloading spree. :D

If you wanna listen to Last Alliance (and I recommend that you do! They may be doing rock songs but they're really easy on the ears and you'll be amazed by the awesome guitars and drums.     Dude. Leech the albums. XD I'm being really mean by telling you to do this but their albums aren't sold there.. so.. LEECH! *coughgoogleasiannationrightnowcough*

    My favorite is.. everything. XDDDD But oh.. One Hot Second is love.. and and and... of course Shissou is a classic and I also love Konyoubitomare and Eimii Syndrome and Lie of Eternity, Paint it Blue and... *implodes into a million tiny dust speck particle type things*

    ...LA is awesome.

    I also got into them through Ouran. and I was like.. homg.. heaven.. and then I had to search for more of their songs and then I found Equal Reason and I just about died and then I still wanted more so I plucked up the courage to go to limewire (OMGH4X) for it...@_@ and that's how I got Sketch and *insertacoupleofothersongshere*.

    But then I wanted the WHOLE thing. Soes.. I went to *coughasiannationcough* XDDDDD SO GO!!!!!!

    Gawds.. am I even making sense? XD;
    Btw how goes teh ELJAY CRACK?
